Privacy Policy

It is possible to use this website without entering any personalised data.

If personalised data are collected on our pages, for example by sending in the contact form, then this is always on a voluntary basis. In compliance with the statutory requirements on data protection and in compliance with this privacy statement, we will treat your personalised data with the strictest confidence.

So-called cookies are used in the Internet. These are simple text files which are stored on your computer and which are sent to the server along with the details of the page when you load a website so that the server can recognise your browser again. The most common type of cookie is the session cookie which, amongst other things, enables you to log in. Normally, this cookie is deleted when you log out or when you close your browser.

In your browser, you can block or accept cookies, either in general or for individual pages, and you can set your browser in such a way that cookies are deleted when you close your browser. However, this can reduce the functionality of certain websites so that, for example, it is no longer possible to log in or you have to log in again.

Server Log Files

When you access our services, the web hoster of this internet page automatically generates a so-called server log file. The data transferred by your browser are stored in the log file, namely, the date and time of the server enquiry, the target address, the IP address, the referrer URL and the user agent which contains information about your browser and your operating system.

These log files are deleted from our server after one day and are not combined with other data sources. We reserve the right to check the log file if there are definite indications that it is being used illegally

Contact Form

When you send in the contact form, all the personalised data which it contains are transferred as an email (see under email below) via an encrypted link to our server in Germany. On the contact form the only compulsory things you have to enter are the method of contacting you (email or telephone) and your message.

Incoming emails are stored on a hired webserver in Germany and are forwarded to all our customer service personnel via a central email post box. All personalised data contained in the message are used exclusively to process the question or issue which you have described in your text and to contact you - if you have requested this - in order to process your enquiry. We do not foresee having to pass on or link your data to other sources and, if we do, we will ask your permission first.

If you make a concrete enquiry about one of the services which we offer, then during the processing of your request, we will store the relevant data from the email additionally in a customer database to which our customer service personnel have access. The relevant data as a rule are your name, your company, at least one method of contract (telephone, email or fax) and, if you have requested an offer, your address. On request we will send you further information relative to the customer database in a separate privacy statement.

Following receipt and processing, your email will be stored permanently in a revision-proof email archive.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

For the collection of user data Google Analytics uses so-called cookies, text files which are stored on your computer. These data are transmitted to a Google server in the United States and enable the operator to analyse the general usage of this website.

We have activated the option “IP Anonymisation” which means that, within the member states of the European Union and in other countries contracted to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, your IP address is stored in a shortened form - and thereby incomplete - on the Google servers.

As a result, for our purposes, you are an anonymous visitor.

Further information on Google Analytics or Google user conditions and data protection can be found under:

You can prevent your user data from being collected by Google Analytics by clicking on the following link and installing the browser plug-in offered by Google: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de. You can also block Google Analytics by means of a so-called “opt-out cookie”. By clicking the following link, you can deactivate this cookie: Google Analytics deaktivieren.

As an alternative to email, contact form and telephone we offer the chat service of the provider tawk.to inc. from the United States. In the back end of the provider, which is made available during the session, customer service personnel can see which pages the visitor is looking at and which country the visitor comes from. The IP address is also shown and the approximate location of the visitor can be established.

All the above mentioned data, including the chat history, are encrypted and sent via a so-called widget (in this case the chat window) to the provider’s American server.

The visitor can have the chat history sent to him via the chat window and can save it. If, from the chat, there results a concrete request or issue, then the chat history or a summary thereof and the personalised data which is thereby made available – as a rule, your name and a method of contact – is placed in our customer database and is used exclusively to process your request. We do not foresee forwarding to, or combining your data with, other sources, and if we do so, it will be with your permission.

At the latest after one week we will delete the data stored on the provider’s server tawk.to inc. in the United States, such as the chat history, IP address, location and date.

Further information on data protection you will find in the provider’s privacy statement (in English):
