Euro 2020 at the National Arena Bucharest

Building work began in 2008 to replace the old national stadium in Bucharest with a modern arena. Just before the first game in the National Arena, the gates of the stadium were thrown open for an open day that attracted more than 100,000 visitors. This really demonstrates just how much the Romanian fans love football.

Following on from hosting the Europa League 2012 final, the Romanians can look forward to further sporting highlights at the National Arena during Euro 2020: three Group C group games and a Round of 16 match will take place here. Bucharest will share the Group C matches with Amsterdam. The group games in the Romanian capital will be contested by Austria, Ukraine and a play-off team.

Euro 2020 matches at the National Arena Bucharest by private jet

Scheduled flights to Bucharest land at Henri Coandă International Airport, to the north of the city. A significant increase in passenger numbers is expected around the dates of the Euro 2020 matches – especially because many fans will arrive without having bought tickets, just to soak up the Euro 2020 atmosphere in the city and to enjoy themselves in the Fan Zones. It will, no doubt, be difficult for the scheduled airlines to meet this demand.

In contrast, anyone flying to Bucharest in a private jet will immediately have several advantages: firstly, private flights to the Romanian capital will be feasible, even at short notice. Secondly a private plane can also land at Băneasa International Airport, which is significantly closer to the National Arena and the city centre.

Passengers travelling on board a private jet naturally enjoy higher levels of comfort and full flexibility. Deutsche-Privatjet can provide you with the right aircraft according to your needs: light jets are the first choice for many individuals and small groups. Large groups can be accommodated in larger machines, while VIPs often opt for more luxurious models. On request, we can also offer you an easy, relaxed way of getting from the airport to the stadium: working with Deutsche-Helikopter, we can provide a helicopter for your journey.

Whether you're planning a holiday that also incorporates a visit to the stadium in Bucharest, or are travelling especially for a Euro 2020 game, when you charter a private jet with us you can count on outstanding service and maximum reliability. Our excellent airport management contacts in Bucharest will enable us to easily organise one of the sought-after landing slots around the match dates. If there is no longer a landing slot available at the Bucharest airports due to the last-minute nature of your booking, we will plan an alternative destination airport for you and a subsequent transfer to the National Arena Bucharest.

You can rely on the fact that every comfort will be available to you on board our private jets. You can look forward to fresh bespoke catering, fast and discreet check-in at the General Aviation Terminal and the arrangement of the aircraft cabin according to your wishes.
