Last week, the private chartered aircraft professionals at Deutsche-Privatjet organised a business flight for the CEO of a large German holding company, who was flying from Hamburg to Gibraltar to attend some business meetings. Since German airlines do not fly directly to Gibraltar, chartering a private jet was the only way for our client to reach the British overseas territory without having to take a transfer flight. Quickly as ever, we booked a comfortable Cessna Citation CJ2+ business jet for our client and an additional person, providing the two passengers with excellent travel comfort inclusive of bespoke catering during the private flight to Gibraltar. Our guests made good use of their time on board our private jet by preparing for their forthcoming meetings. Aircraft aprons at Gibraltar International Airport can only be reserved for up to two hours, so the private jet’s crew waited for their guests at Málaga Airport and picked them up at Gibraltar International Airport once their work was complete. After a short flight time, the passengers arrived back at Hamburg-Fuhlsbuettel Airport.
By the way: Gibraltar International Airport is the only airport in the world where the runway intersects with a four-lane road. Gibraltar is located in Spanish territory but it belongs to the British overseas territories, which means that its official language is English. However, given the proximity to Spain, people in Gibraltar drive on the right as opposed to on the left as the British do.
