The Boeing 787-800 is much too good simply to be viewed a workhorse. Rather, it is ideally suited to transporting passengers over long distances safely, comfortably and very swiftly – for example, non-stop from Munich to Tokyo. The huge amount of space available in the passenger cabin enables generous seating and equipment for business flights, while offering the option of a very exclusive VIP aircraft, leaving nothing to be desired in terms of in-flight comfort. The first aircraft of this type was put into service in 2011 and 373 Boeing 787-800 airliners have been built and delivered so far.
