Description

The Embraer 175 is a slightly larger version of the Embraer 170 and is regarded as the pace setter in the segment for shuttle jets of this size. It can accommodate up to 78 passengers in the standard configuration. A configuration allowing a separate Business and Economy Class is also possible: in most cases, this means 76 seats will be available. During the development of the Embraer 175, great emphasis was placed on it being able to serve regional airports. This allows the jet to perform its shuttle function in scheduled flight operations and also to offer great flexibility as a private aircraft for group charter.

Comfort

For a jet of this size, the Embraer 175 is able to take off and land on relatively short runways – usually turboprop aircraft have the advantage here. Thus, the 175 combines the cruising speed of a jet with a high degree of flexibility regarding the airports it can use. Taking off and landing at small regional airports is easy, as well as at many of the small airports close to major cities, which are exclusively reserved for private flights.

The Embraer 175 also offers a high level of comfort on board. Compared to the competition, this very long aircraft completely dispenses with middle seats and offers a wide aisle and plenty of room for carry-on luggage. The specially configured seats provide a high level of passenger comfort thanks to adjustable headrests.
